Saving money on Christmas presents isn’t always easy, but with this little “trick” you can save your family hundreds of dollars (and no, it doesn’t involve buying gifts ahead of time or doing a savings plan all year long!) In fact, while the holidays are certainly on my mind, this is a tip that works whenever you’re buying gifts!
As a child, I always remember my grandmother getting Christmas cards, usually starting the first week of December. She’d place them all over the huge bay window along with her decorations and I’d marvel at them as they accumulated. My other grandmother had her piano absolutely covered in them from December 1st through January.
Valentine’s Day is especially great when you have preschoolers – they’re old enough to want to celebrate, but too young to want to celebrate without Mom or Dad by their side. I love all the cute projects they bring home from school and it’s always a joy to then replicate their projects (or as every Mom does – turn to Pinterest for ideas!)
