Sharing is caring!

Tracking PixelI’ve been my own boss for a few years now, and while I’ve come a long way, it hasn’t been a linear process. Trial and error, studying, long nights working and more books than I can count went into building my business. While I’ve worked with different mentors, I wish I had the opportunity to read Russell Brunson’s Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers a long time ago.

Now before we dive into this, I do want to note that this is a sponsored post, but the view points and opinions written here are completely my own.

How Traffic Secrets Can Boost Your Business

I work with Pinterest to drive traffic to my client’s sites, but for people who don’t know Pinterest in and out as I do, getting traffic can be a real hang-up. For entrepreneurs, success is dependent on finding customers and increasing traffic; without traffic, your business won’t sell anything, and this is the main reason thousands of businesses fail every year.

With concise writing and clear diagrams, Russell makes the process of getting traffic plain and simple. For business owners, entrepreneurs and coaches, this information is vital for finding your ideal customer and grabbing their attention. As Russell puts it, “traffic is just people”, and this book helps you find your people.

The 30-Day Traffic Challenge

People who preorder Traffic Secrets get access to a 30-day challenge, which I am finding to be my favorite part of the whole experience.

What I feel sets this book apart from other, similar writings is the fact that it has actionable homework built right in. If you complete this book with the 30-day challenge, you’ll be taken, step-by-step, through his process of identifying and drawing in the right kind of customer for you.

I am liking the challenge so far, mostly because books like these often give great advice, but they leave you with a sense of wondering how you use what you’ve learned. Even without the 30-day challenge, however, Traffic Secrets provides some great enrichment work at the end of each section. This makes retaining and utilizing the information much easier.

Finding your people

Following this process made me realize there are opportunities for traffic that I had been ignoring. I liked that he explains how you can create ads that almost break even while creating a broad reach, setting up future traffic funnels. Information like this would have been great in the early days of my business when I was spending money boosting Facebook ads with little direction.

In fact, he’s got optimization protocols for Youtube, Facebook, Google, and Instagram, so if you’re relying on a single avenue to draw traffic, this book can teach out how to branch out. Because everything is so step-by-step, for someone just starting out trying to find their customers, it’s absolutely foolproof. Even though I drive most of my traffic through Pinterest, I found the exercises enjoyable and they bolstered my interest in using other channels.

I like what I’m reading

So far on my challenge journey, I have found ways to increase my own traffic and also to streamline processes I already had in place. Right now the book is being offered for free with a ton of extras thrown in, including the 30-day challenge that I’m loving so far. I really do feel that anyone who completes this challenge and uses this book will have the strategies and techniques needed to boost their traffic.

Since Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers is free right now – you only pay $9.95 for shipping and printing – the only real investment is your time, and it’s an investment that I feel will absolutely pay off in traffic to your business.
