When I was offered the chance to review the Crenova 3-in-1 Automatic Food Sealer Saver, I wasn’t quite sure if it was something that would be worth my time. Sure, it seems like a good deal, but I very much subscribe to the Alton Brown line of thinking — don’t have appliances that have only one function, they’ll only create clutter!
Regardless, I thought I figured I’d give it a try and see what happens…and oh. my. goodness.

I decided to try out the Crenova 3-in-1 Automatic Food Sealer Saver one day after realizing we had way too much leftover galumpki (cabbage and beef). Galumpki is one of my favorite dinners, but go figure, the kids aren’t a fan. Rather than let it go to waste, though, I decided it was a perfect opportunity to see if this food sealer was actually worth a spot in my kitchen.
The Crenova 3-in-1 Automatic Food Sealer Saver is incredibly light weight and seriously could not be easier to use. If you know me, you know that it’s not actually my kitchen so much as it is my husband’s (there’s a reason he runs a keto recipe blog and I don’t!) It’s a good day if I can microwave hot dogs for my kids, let alone work the other appliances!
While not my kitchen, though, this is my blog and I can’t recommend a product if I can’t actually use it. So I skimmed the directions and decided to charge full speed ahead!
The Crenova 3-in-1 Automatic Food Sealer Saver has a few different variables on it, namely the option to customize based on your food. I decided to go with “wet food” for the galumpki to account for the sauce. In a matter of 30 seconds, I not only figured out how to use the but it was done – the galumpki was sealed up and ready for the freezer!!
This appliance is so quick and easy to use. It’s sure to not only save you time (seriously I used to do the ol’ freezer bag dipped in hot water to get the air out enough to freeze stuff!) but it’ll save you so much money as well! Personally I’m going to draft up a meal plan and then keep my husband company one Sunday while he cooks a bunch of freezer meals that I’ll then vacuum seal. Team work, people!! hehe

I shop at Dollar Tree a lot – maybe not as often as I shop online, but when it comes to creating a Dr. Seuss birthday or frugal Halloween party, Dollar Tree is always my one-stop shop! So let me just tell you – when I found out they were going to soon be carrying greeting cards from Hallmark, I was ECSTATIC!!
Now I do want to mention that I am being compensated for this post and the links below may be affiliate links, but this in no way impacts my opinion of this awesome product release.
Dollar Tree Greeting Cards
Normally my thrifty self is all about having the kids create cards, but they’re not always in the mood to color when I want them to color (go figure, right?) So now that I can pick up adorable greeting cards from Dollar Tree, I never again have to force creativity when the kids are feeling anything but! It’s also great that I can pick up a greeting card when I want something a bit nicer (like sending a thank you note) and not have to feel guilty about spending $5 on something most people don’t actually hang onto.
There are over 6,500 Dollar Tree stores nationwide and starting today (August 30th) every store will have cards from Expressions From Hallmark ($1 each) as well as cards from Heartline, which is a Hallmark company, and those will actually be TWO for $1!
Personally I kept all the cards given to my children on their first birthdays and I still love pulling them out every once in a while to reminisce. It’s nice to think that I’ll be able to pick up quality cards so others can do the same and I can do it without breaking the bank. As I looked through the cards offered, I was blown away by how great they are given the price. Another great thing about Dollar Tree is that you can even shop online so you can pick up these amazing greeting cards without having to even leave the house! I very much recommend checking out all the different cards offered and maybe buy yourself a coffee with the extra money you’ll save. 😉

If you’ve been around for a while, you may have noticed one thing that’s become pretty regular when it comes to me and my “branding” – and that is the awesome side-po’ I typically rock (almost always braided).

Now you maybe think it’s just a look I love or a purposeful part of my branding, and in truth, that’s part of it, but really…I’ve got a secret.
A secret I’ve battled for 29+ years now…
And that is…
I hate my hair.
Throughout high school, I tried EVERYTHING to tame my white girl fro. Gels, creams, flat-irons out the wazoo…nothing worked.
My hair has always seemed to be at war with itself, wanting to be curly and then thinking it’s straight, and in the end, I look like a poodle if I don’t tie it back.
Finally, I met a friend/hair stylist in college who introduced me to her Chi Flat Iron and oh. my. goodness. My prayers had been answered!!
Oh, but hello nearly $100 price tag!! Luckily, my college friend took pity on me and gave me her older Chi when it became time for her to get a new one. I was ecstatic and for years, it was my most prized possession.
Even with the amazing Chi, though, it still took me nearly an hour to straighten my hair. Fortunately, I was then introduced to dry shampoo and HELLO game changer. Now I could straighten my hair and now have to worry about it for days on end.
Batiste is by far and away my most favorite beauty tool…heh well pretty much my ONLY beauty tool most days.
Tragedy struck. My Chi stopped working.
Thus was birthed my awesome side po’.
Now I’m a fan of my look (obviously) but I have *LONG* hair and there are certainly days I want to celebrate that. As I’ve gotten older, I appreciate my hair for the wild chaos that it is and have begun to look at it as a challenge to tame it. I picked up a straightener from Walgreens, but every time I use it, my arms threaten to fall off about halfway through.
Then one day, I came across an ad for Boardwalk Buy. Oooh, good ol’ Facebook ads…
So I was torn as to whether or not to click through to the product, but after reading a few of the comments in the ad, I knew this was something I had to try out.
It arrived from Boardwalk Buy less than a week after I ordered it and I was beyond excited to try it out. It looked like fun if nothing else! Plus both my toddlers napped that day which meant I had the rare opportunity to actually shower AND wash my hair. Ah, the exciting life of motherhood.
The brush heated up in just a couple of minutes and luckily I had some heat defense spray on hand as the brush gets up to about 450 degrees Fahrenheit and I knew my thick hair needed the heat but also needed to not look like I’d stuck my finger in an electric socket.
Four minutes later…
YES – FOUR MINUTES LATER…
And I was done. I couldn’t believe it. Thank you, Boardwalk Buy!!
